The strengths of Fronius
Fronius is a privately owned family
business with a strong emphasis on teamwork. Klaus Fronius once
said that he felt every employee was a member of the Fronius family. I
have worked for Fronius for 20 years and have observed how Fronius cares
about their employees.
Although the company has grown to nearly 1200 employees, all are known
on a first name or department basis. Fronius employees are treated with
respect and are given career opportunities to grow within the
organization.
This may be the most important strength of Fronius. With such a
culture, the employees take pride in their work and often put forth
extra effort to get the job done in a professional and timely manner.
This philosophy has not gone un-noticed. The comment; “I feel the
power of Fronius spirit here” was made by a customer while watching
our application engineers finding ways to weld his parts faster and
better.
Fronius’ second strength is product development. Klaus Fronius is
known as an innovator and he allows only developments that are unique
and new.
He once said; “ We will never copy a technology or a process” This
turned our Research & Development engineers into pioneers in welding
technology. Our Research & Development department doesn’t look to
our competitors for ideas.
The combination of these two strengths has made Fronius a leader in the
welding industry. Our customers benefit because Fronius is able to
provide them with the best products and services available to weld
better and faster.
A maintenance manager recently said; “ I trust Fronius people. They
never let me down. My production runs and if I need support on a Sunday
morning, I know they will be here”.
